frameworks 2022: Connections
FRAMEWORKS is an annual youth-based film festival organised by Year 5 students from the School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA). It seeks to provide a public platform for lesser-known and/or first-time filmmakers to connect with the Singapore filmmaking scene and receive feedback from those experienced in the field.
About frameworks 2022
Our theme this year is Connections! We invite participants to explore the idea of how we connect with others, and the meanings of the relationships we form with those around us.Prompts for filmmakers:
When and under what circumstances are connections forged?
How do our connections with other people shape who we are?
What connections are the most valuable in our lives?
Do our connections strengthen us or bring us down?
How has the pandemic changed the way you connect with others?
